For those entering the teaching force in History, almost all will find themselves teaching World History. In Massachusetts, year-long courses in world history are required by the state frameworks for grades 4, 6, 9, and 10.

The Pre-Service Teacher Workshops of the World History Resource Center will provide prospective teachers with an overview of the content, themes, teaching materials, classroom strategies, and assessment methods for this challenging subject.
