In addition to the range of data files already created, you may construct your own data files for use in the simulation.

INSTRUCTIONS
When running the Slave Trade Simulation, the program creates data packages that contain the names of 17 data files that are used to run the simulation.
When creating files you will first create a data package, by altering any or all of the 17 data files.
- Notice the layout of the file package index page. The files are grouped by colors. Fertility files contain only female values; and all other file types contain male and female values.
- To start, create a new file by pressing one of the 17 buttons on the middle column, or you may input the name of a file you have already created, or of an existing file (see Data available for the simulation)
- Enter your new revisions to the default data that appears.
- When creating a new data file, insert the filename - no extension is needed. Then submit and your file will be created. When the file is created and the window is closed, the field on the package index will automatically be updated. Do not change this value.
- Press the "Fill Next" link to automatically fill the next field in the file sub-group.
- Continue editing or entering existing data files, for as many data files as you like.
- Submit and create file package.
- Enter run parameters, and Run the Simulation.
- Study output.
If all output is displayed, your run was successful.
